My name is Kartik and I was doing my Bachelor’s degree in Bangalore when this incident happened which almost changed my life forever. I was a very good student and was also active in every activity possible from co-curricular to extra-curricular. I was very friendly and had a lot of friends. Among all those friends, Kavya was my best friend since school days. We know each other really well and are very close to each other so much that most of my friends thought she was my girlfriend. At that point, I had no such intention and hence didn’t take those comments too seriously. Kavya was studying Drama and she acts in theater. She’s a really beautiful girl and I was proud to be her best friend. It was our summer holidays and we went to our home. I was born and bought up in Mumbai and Kavya used to stay in Mumbai but shifted to Kolkata because of her father's job. One day, her parents went out of town to attend a marriage and she had to stay back because of drama, she was performing
